White Ostrich Tabletop Tree

Additional Supplies Items:
White Styrofoam Cone (18” or desired height)
Wire (18 gauge)
Wire Cutter
Glue Gun
“S” pins
Ribbon (optional)
Beads Garland (optional)

Instructions:
Cut (1) ostrich feather at a time. Starting at the top of the Styrofoam cone, place (3) on with an “S” pin. Working your way down, place ostrich feathers on cone with “s” pins. Vary placement of feathers to create contrast on cone. Cut stem, leaving 2-3 inches, from hackle feather stem. Place stem in the center of the top of cone to create tree topper.
Remove clips from birds. Make a small hole into the bodies of bird. Glue a 4-5” piece of wire into hole on birds and place on tree using wire. ( Note: clips must be removed from all items, as ostrich feathers are too lightweight) Repeat steps with butterflies and hummingbirds. Add ribbon or garland if desired.
